There are many search engines in the world, such as the most famous is Google, followed by Yahoo, Bing etc. If someone wants to learn HTML in Bengali, he might search Google by writing "HTML Tutorial", because he might not know the address of any website that has HTML Tutorial in Bengali. Now let's say there is a website that has HTML Tutorial in English. Now if "HTML Tutorial" If you search on Google by writing ", the first link on the first page of Google is the site, then the user who was searching for "HTML Tutorial" will definitely go to that site. This one's site showed up first on Google, even though there are many sites, blogs, forums etc. that have HTML in Bengali, the site that showed up first had adopted some techniques, these techniques are called Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

-Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is mainly of 2 types, namely--

1. On Page (which is done within the site, ie- title tags, content, keywords etc. being relevant)

2. Off Page (which is done outside the site, eg blog, forum posting)

Paid search engine optimization: If you search on Google, you will sometimes see that there are some links in different colors (usually light brown) on the right or top of the search results (related to the search term). These are paid links ie Google has to pay for them. This type of optimization is called Paid SEO.

Organic Search Engine Optimization: The links that appear normally on the search result page means that Google does not highlight them with any special color, they are organic links. This type of optimization is called Organic SEO. It is also called Algorithmic SEO.
