ব্লকচেইন কি? এটি কীভাবে কাজ করে?

 ব্লকচেইন কি?

প্রথমেই এই টার্মটির দিকে একটু ভালো করে খেয়াল করুণ। তাহলেই একটি বেসিক ধারণা পাবেন যে এই নামটি দিয়ে আসলে কি বোঝানো হচ্ছে। ব্লকচেইন মানে বলা হচ্ছে ব্লক দিয়ে তৈরি চেইন বা ব্লকের চেইন। চেইন কি তা আমরা সবাই জানি। অনেকগুলো একই ম্যাটেরিয়াল পাশাপাশি একটির সাথে আরেকটি যোগ করার মাধ্যমে সেগুলোকে একটি শিকলের মত করাকেই চেইন বলা হয়। তাহলে ভেবে দেখুন, অনেকগুলো ব্লককে একটির সাথে আরেকটি জোড়া দেওয়ার মাধ্যমে ব্লকের একটি শিকল তৈরি করাকেই বোঝানো হচ্ছে ব্লকচেইন টার্মটির দ্বারা। আচ্ছা, আর যে ব্লকগুলোর দ্বারা এই চেইনটি তৈরি করা হয় সেই ব্লকগুলো মূলত ইনফরমেশন স্টোর করে। ব্লকচেইন টেকনোলজিটি অনেক আগে থেকেই আছে এবং অনেক ক্ষেত্রে ব্যাবহারও হয়ে আসছে। কিন্তু সাধারন মানুষের এই টেকনোলজিটির প্রতি আগ্রহ তৈরি হয় মূলত ২০০৯ সালে বিটকয়েন নামের ক্রিপটোকারেন্সিটি উদ্ভাবন হওয়ার পরে। টেকনিক্যালি বলতে হলে ব্লকচেইন হচ্ছে একটি ডিস্ট্রিবিউটেড লেজার, যেটি সকলের জন্য উন্মুক্ত। ব্লকচেইনের ব্লকগুলোর মধ্যে যখন একটি ডেটা ইন্টার করা হয়, তখন ওই ডেটাটিকে ডিলিট করা বা ডেটাটির কোন ধরনের পরিবর্তন করা প্রায় অসম্ভব। কিন্তু কিভাবে? অলরাইট, এটা জানতে হলে প্রথমে জানতে হবে যে এই ব্লকগুলোর মধ্যে প্রত্যেকটি ব্লকে কি থাকে। সম্পূর্ণ ব্লকচেইনের প্রত্যেকটি সিঙ্গেল ব্লকে মূলত তিনটি জিনিস থাকে- ডেটা, হ্যাশ এবং চেইনে তার আগের ব্লকটির হ্যাশ। অর্থাৎ, ব্লকচেইনের থাকা প্রত্যেকটি ব্লকে থাকে সেই ব্লকটির নিজস্ব ডেটা, ব্লকটির নিজের হ্যাশ এবং ঠিক তার পেছনে যুক্ত থাকা আগের ব্লকটির হ্যাশ। ডেটা বুঝলাম, কিন্তু হ্যাশ জিনিসটি কি? হ্যাশ হচ্ছে মূলত একটি আইডেন্টিফায়ার। প্রত্যেকটি ব্লকের হ্যাশ তার একেবারেই নিজস্ব এবং প্রত্যেকের জন্য নির্দিষ্ট। অর্থাৎ, দুটি ব্লকের হ্যাশ কখনোই একই হতে পারবে না। এই বিষয়টি অনেকটা মানুষের ফিঙ্গারপ্রিন্টের মত। দুটি মানুষের ফিঙ্গারপ্রিন্ট যেমন একই হতে পারবে না কখনোই, তেমনি দুটি ব্লকের হ্যাশও কখনো মিলবে না। আর এই হ্যাশগুলো জেনারেট হয় প্রত্যেকটি ব্লকের স্টোর করা ডেটা অনুযায়ী। যার মানে, একটি ব্লকের ডেটা যদি কোনরকম পরিবর্তন করা হয়, তাহলে ওই ব্লকটির হ্যাশও চেঞ্জ হয়ে যাবে। এবার চিন্তা করে দেখুন, প্রত্যেকটি ব্লক কেন তার আগের ব্লকের হ্যাশও থাকে। প্রত্যেকটি ব্লক যদি তার আগে যুক্ত থাকা হ্যাশটিও রাখে, তাহলে কোন ব্লকের ডেটা কেউ ইচ্ছামত চেঞ্জ করে ফেলতে পারবে না। তাই ব্লকচেইনে ইন্টার করা প্রত্যেকটি ডেটা ডিলিট করা বা চেঞ্জ করা প্রায় অসম্ভব। কারণ, এক্ষেত্রে আপনি যদি একটি ব্লকে থাকা ডেটা চেঞ্জ কর‍তে চান, তাহলে আপনাকে ওই ব্লকটির সাথে তার আগের সবগুলো ব্লকের ডেটা চেঞ্জ করতে হবে, নয়ত সম্পূর্ণ ব্লকচেইনটি ইনভ্যালিড হয়ে যাবে বা কাজ করবে না আর।
