Set-up or Apply Operating System Password: BIOS has various menus, under which there are many options. Changing these options is a BIOS set-up change.
Applying Operating System Password:
Following steps are to be taken to enter password using bios.
(i) Enter BIOS.
(ii) Enter the security menu of bios.
(iii) Go to Security Options and select System.
(iv) Supervisor Password' Password to be entered.
(v) Re-enter the said password.
(vi) Enter the BIOS exit menu and save the password for activation.
Remove password:
Removal of System Password: To remove the system password the following steps are to be taken. namely-
(i) Enter BIOS.
(ii) BIOS Security 'Supervisor Password' password should be removed.
(iii) Enter BIOS exit menu and save the change to take effect.
