Brin graduated from the University of Maryland in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science. In 1993, he received an honorary degree. He enrolled in computer science at Stanford University for higher education. He is currently taking a break from Stanford University to pursue a PhD in computer science.
