The keys from F1 to F12 on the top left of the key board are called function keys. The reason they are called functions is because they allow certain tasks (or functions) to be performed. For example - these keys are used to help a program or to run a program.

F1
For most software, this function acts as a key help menu. If you need help working on a program, you can open the help menu by pressing F1.
F2
It can be used to rename (rename) any file and folder. Select any folder and press F2 to rename that folder.

F3
Press F3 to find any information while working on the computer.

F4
Any running program can be closed by pressing ALT + F4.
Pressing CTRL + F4 in LibraOffice will close the window for all running documents.
F5
Pressing F5 in the browser refreshes the webpage.

Pressing the F5 key on LibraOffice Writer will turn on the Navigator.
The sidebar can be opened or closed by pressing CTRL + F5 on LibraOffice Writer.

F6
Pressing this key moves the mouse cursor to the browser's address bar (address bar).
F7
Spelling or grammar can be corrected by pressing the F7 key in LibraOffice Writer.
F8
In Ubuntu, any window can be resized by pressing ALT + F8.
F9
Pressing the CTRL + F9 key on LibraOffice Writer creates an empty field (or field).
F10
Pressing F10 shows the menu bar of most programs.
Selecting any folder and pressing SHIFT + F10 will show a shortcut menu.
Pressing ALT + F10 will make the window bigger or smaller.
F11
Pressing F11 in the browser shows it across the screen (fullscreen).
Many PDAP readers also show F11 when they press F11 across the screen.
F12
Pressing CTRL + F12 gives you the option to create a table in LibraOffice Writer.
It is used in many cases when selecting the boot device (hard disk, USB disk, CD / DVD, etc.) when booting the computer.
There is also another key called the Fn key, with which pressing other function keys together will make the device work. For example, the image below shows that the volume can be controlled by pressing Fn + F12.
